Kunsthal 44Møen is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Berlin-based artist, Michael Sailstorfer. The exhibition binds together five new sculptural and film projects that demonstrate the artist's insistence on poetic and material transformation. more... Bjørn Nørgaard reflects in the exhibition De to Huse/ The two Houses over the collaborations with his now deceased colleague, Henning Christiansen (1932-2008). Opening program:
5. - 6.pm Opening words by curator Thorbjørn Reuter Christiansen
6. - 7.pm Performance `180 hammer blows against the warmonkeys´ by Thorbjørn Reuter Christiansen

Bass-baritone Jacob Bloch Jespersen sings Henning Christiansen´s revolutionary songs accompanied by tunes from the FLUXUS piano `Valhalla´

Subsequently a potluck feast (bring your own food basket) will take place on the field while DJ Mark Howard interprets and presents Henning Christiansen´s music in a fun and relaxed way. Later on, a midsummer bonfire and party with music from DJ Mark Howard (reasonably priced draught beer from Møn brewhouse may be purchased throughout the evening). We welcome everyone to an enjoyable midsummer's celebration of the arty kind!

Tilflytterne / Newcomers presents materials, documents and artwork that illustrate the different self-organised projects in the decade between 1970 and 1980 by an influx of alternative thinkers, hippies, activists and young families on the island Møn and traces the journalistic revelations of the island's leading elite, who found themselves challenged and exposed by the Newcomers and their independent newspaper Ø-bladet. more...
