The night sky over the island of Møn is sensational. On a clear night, you might count 5000 stars – while in Copenhagen it's only 100. The small Danish island is one of ten "Dark Sky Parks" in Europe and the first in Scandinavia. It received this status because of its inhabitants' careful handling of light pollution.
